Outreach
The Columbia SRP's Research Translation and Community Engagement Cores have been involved in numerous projects to develop tools, resources, and strategies to build the capacity of individuals, communities, and government partners to reduce exposure to arsenic. As part of the RTC we have developed the NJ Arsenic Awareness website. In addition, a joint effort with both cores forged a partnership with Hunterdon Health Care and the New Jersey Department of Health to offer educational materials, free testing and mitigation options to communities living in high arsenic regions of Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
