"We at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health are proud to participate in National Public Health Week. It provides an opportunity to celebrate the essential role public health plays in preventing illness, improving lives, and strengthening communities. For more than a century, Columbia Mailman has been dedicated to innovative research and the best education. We have worked hand-in-hand with partners to translate knowledge into meaningful action and tangible health improvements in New York City and around the world.
