The Global Health Initiative leverages the leadership of the Mailman School and its collaborating partners in the field of global health to showcase knowledge and innovation with respect to key global challenges. We seek to promote equity, effectiveness and evidence in policy and practice.

The Global Health Practicum Poster Showcase

Global Health Certificate students will present posters of their practicum experiences abroad, including in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Lunch will be served. All in the Columbia Community are welcome to attend. Lunch and refreshments will be served.

The Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) has resulted in over 31,000 cases of the disease with more than 600 deaths to date. A total of 25 countries have been affected around the world. This global outbreak raises many questions:
- Where did the virus come from?
- How is it transmitted? And what can people to protect themselves?
- What is the possible trajectory of this outbreak?
- What are the political, societal, ethical and clinical implications?
