GOALS

• Develop an effective implementation model that is appropriate in different global settings

Program overview

1. Program sites: sidHARTe provided two CPAP machines and supported supplies to the University of Puthisastra for simulation training. These resources were also provided to Kandal Provincial Pediatric Hospital and the National Pediatric Hospital for both training and patient use. 
    

2. Training: During a November 2015 visit, sidHARTe trained and validated four CPAP instructors during a two-day instructor course held at the University of Puthisastra. The trained instructors included faculty from the University of Puthisastra and clinicians from Kandal Provincial Pediatric Hospital. sidHARTe trained 48 fifth-year medical students at the University of Puthisastra and our four trained instructors have trained over 62 clinicians and medical students at two hospitals in 2015.
