For a Special Event
If you need tech support for a special event, please set up an appointment to review your needs and book support at least two weeks in advance.
Group training sessions for using technology in a room will be held at the beginning of each academic year. Training sessions can also be scheduled at any other time of the year. Please email sm3797 [at] cumc.columbia.edu (Simon Mak) to receive training on a room.
Immediate support is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, we strongly recommend notifying MPSH-AV of your event in advance and that you get trained in the equipment as a contingency plan. Room training can be scheduled with the AV Manager, and is highly recommended for Teaching Assistants and Faculty.
Rooms with Echo360 capability are:
|8th Auditorium||Video + Screen Capture / Audio|
|Hess Commons||Screen Capture / Audio|
IT technicians are only available for full event recording for very special events, but special arrangements must be made. Otherwise, outside vendors should be used for videography.
Outside Videography Vendors
To have your event live streamed please contact the AV manager two weeks in advance of your event date to discuss scheduling availability and event details.
