Case-Based Learning Lab
In the Case-Based Learning Lab, theoretical constructs of case analysis are translated to practical application. Participants generate their own strategic case based on an experience within their organization, and present a solution. This exercise works well as the culminating experience of a larger non-degree program, as it requires students to draw from the policy and management coursework to identify and support their case and solution. The format of the Lab can be modified to meet an organizations needs. Participants can enter the non-degree program with a pre-selected strategic management problem, or participants can work over the course of the program to identify a problem that applies to their position.
