Session 3: Is Bigger Better? An Analysis of Consolidation in Healthcare

• Understand major trends driving the healthcare field including demographics, reimbursement (private, government and direct), regulation, technology.
• Understand how the healthcare industry compares to other major sectors of the economy. What are the similarities and what are the key differences.
• Understand how and why current trends drive consolidation.
