Career Day

Our Spring 2024 Virtual Career Day will be held on Friday, March 1 on Career Eco, 11am-3pm EST.

Our Spring 2024 In-Person Career Day will be held on Friday, March 29 in person at the Armory Foundation, 11am-3pm EST. The deadline to register is March 8.

Registration is available now. These events have limited capacity and all employers must be able to bring at least 2-3 representatives for the duration of the fair. We have other recruitment options available; please contact us at msphocs@cumc.columbia.edu to discuss.

Early registration is strongly encouraged. Spaces are limited and registration does not guarantee a space available; you will be notified when your registration is approved. Our last several fairs sold out.

To register for the Virtual Career Day: 

  1. Log in or register as an Employer on the CareerEco Platform (link is external and opens in a new window)
  2. Register for the fair on the Columbia Mailman Spring Virtual Career Fair CareerEco Site (link is external and opens in a new window)
  3. NOTE! Payments must be made via a separate URL, and payment must be received before the fair
    1. Virtual Career Fair cost: $250 corporations, $125 for nonprofits or government agencies. A limited number of fee waivers are available for small nonprofits or government agencies with zero recruitment budget; contact us to discuss
  4. You will receive additional instructions via email after you register.
  5. Cancellation policy: employers who cancel prior to the registration deadline for the event may receive a refund. No refunds are available after the deadline.

To register for the In-Person Career Day:

  1. Log in to CareerLink(link is external and opens in a new window)
    • If you already have an account in Mailman CareerLink, log in. Your username is your email address. If you previously had a CareerLink account, but do not recall your password, please click "Forgot Password" (below the Sign In button).
    • If you do not have a CareerLink account, click on “Sign Up” on the right-hand side of the page.
  2. Register for the Fair.
    • Click on “Attend Events-- Spring 2024 Career Day (In Person)” on the right-hand side of the page.
    • Click on the “Registration" link.
    • Select the Registration type (In-Person Career Fair cost: $250 corporations, $125 for nonprofits or government agencies. A limited number of fee waivers are available for small nonprofits or government agencies with zero recruitment budget; contact us to discuss.)
    • Fill out the information for your organization, then click Next; add your organization's logo, industry, website address, organization description (overview), the academic departments you'd like to recruit, job titles, and whether you are open to hiring international students.
    • Choose your payment method. NOTE! Payments must be made via a separate URL, and payment must be received before the fair.
    • Enter the number of representatives attending. IMPORTANT! You MUST include contact information for each representative.
    • Each representative attending the in-person event must agree to adhere to Columbia's Covid-19 protocols (scroll down to review). Note: employers are not permitted to bring more than 4 representatives for this event due to capacity restrictions.
    • Click "Review and Confirm." You're finished with initial registration. You can always Modify later. You should see an invoice page. Don't forget to click the payment link if paying by credit card!
  3. Wait for Career Services Confirmation
    • The Office of Careers & Practice reviews registrations on a weekly basis. Your registration is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us.
  4. You will receive additional instructions via email after you register.
  5. Cancellation policy: employers who cancel prior to the registration deadline for the event may receive a refund. No refunds are available after the deadline.

COVID-19 Protocols for In-Person Career Fair

Please note, all attendees (students, alumni, and recruiters) must agree to follow Columbia's Covid-19 protocols to attend the in-person career fair. All attendees must RSVP in advance to be admitted to ensure capacity is not exceeded.

Attendees are STRONGLY encouraged to wear an N95, KN95 or KF94 mask. We will provide high-quality masks to those who need them.

Employers who register will be required to provide an email address for students who are unable to attend the event in person.
