Upcoming Career Day
Join 70-85 peer employers in recruiting from one of the nation's top five graduate schools of public health at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health Career Fair. This event offers an opportunity to meet more than 500 public health graduate students and alumni.
Our upcoming Spring Career Day 2020 will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020 from 10am-2pm.
Registration is now available.
Early registration is strongly encouraged. Spaces are limited and registration does not guarantee a space available; you will be notified when your registration is approved. Our last several fairs sold out. The deadline to register is March 6, 2020.
1. Log in to CareerLink
If you already have an account in Mailman CareerLink, log in. Your username is your email address. If you previously had a CareerLink account, but do not recall you password, please enter your email address into the “Email Address” box below the login section and click “Find My Account”
If you do not have a CareerLink account, click on “Create Account” next to “1st time user?”, enter your email address and password, and create an account.
2. Register for the Fair
Then click on “Register for Career Fairs/Events”
Click on the “Add Request+” button on the right-hand side of the page.
On the popup that appears, select “Career Fair” from the “OCR Event Type” and click Continue.
Under “Preferred Event,” click on the radio button next to the event you would like to register for.
Enter the recruiter names, information on positions available, etc. IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to space limitations at our career fairs, we now sell half tables and full tables for employers. A half table (3 feet of space) will cost $75 for nonprofits/government agencies or $175 for for-profit companies (LIMITED NUMBER OF HALF TABLES AVAILABLE), and a full table (6 feet) will cost $125 for nonprofits/government or $275 for for-profit companies. IF YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR A HALF TABLE, YOU MAY BRING A MAXIMUM OF 2 RECRUITERS. If you are registering for a full table, you may bring a maximum of 4 recruiters.
On the next page, select ONE of the following: Corporate Full Table, Corporate Half Table, Nonprofit Full Table, Nonprofit Half table. You may also choose to purchase additional advertising in the program book.
Click on the “Pay By Credit Card” or “Pay By Check” button. If you choose to pay by credit card, you will enter your payment information on the next page. If you select “pay by check,” the following page will display an invoice you can print and keep.
You will be prompted to enter credit card information via the secure form if you wish to pay via credit card. If you are paying by check, please make checks payable to “Columbia University” and mail to the address indicated by no later than March 6.
You're finished. You should see a page with the message: “Thank you for submitting your registration for this event.”
3. Wait for Career Services Confirmation
In order to ensure a diverse array of employers attend each event, the Office of Career Services reviews registrations on a weekly basis. Your registration is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from the Office of Career Services.
