Working Groups
The Center promotes four Working Groups that foster interdisciplinary state-of-the-art research in environmental health sciences.
Currently our working groups include:
- Environmental Epidemiology Connections
- Molecular Mechanisms and New Approaches to Environmental Health Sciences
- Climate and Health
- Wet Lab Methods
Why the Working Groups?
Our working groups are incubators of ideas, methods, and collaborations among center members, as well as across the Columbia University community. Each working group meets regularly to discuss new concepts, results, laboratory technologies, methods, or other timely topics. The meeting format may include open discussions, journal clubs, informal presentations, seminar-style presentations, and webex talks. Some meetings are dedicated to discussing ideas for new grant proposals or new projects so that working group members can receive feedback and find additional relevant expertise for their work.
