School Mental Health Educators

SocialsVoice-school mental health is a new SocialsVoice adaptation focused on adult school mental health educators nationwide, with data collection planned for July 2026. This study will help explore how these educators define school mental health in their professional contexts, how these issues are reflected in social media content, and what supports or strategies may be most relevant in school settings.

Similar to other SocialsVoice studies, this adaptation will invite school mental health educators to complete online surveys, participate in a brief series of virtual group sessions guided by the SHOWED discussion questions, and optionally share social media clips related to school mental health. Together, these activities will help center educators’ voices in conversations about school mental health and anti-stigma efforts.
