Columbia MPH
In the 2-year Master of Public Health program, students gain specialized knowledge through their chosen Certificate Program. The Mailman School of Public Health offers various certificate programs that form an integral part of the educational experience at the school. Students are required fulfill course requirements for their chosen Certificate as well as the Core and Departmental graduation requirements. There are six certificate programs related to Epidemiology: Advanced Epidemiology Epidemiology of Chronic Disease, Global Health, Health Communication, Infectious Disease Epidemiology , and Injury Prevention and Control.
Accelerated MPH
The Accelerated MPH is designed for students seeking an intensive, one-year program that will enhance their career in public health.
Master of Science
For health professionals already working in the field, the Master of Science (MS) in Epidemiology is geared towards providing students with knowledge, skills, and credentials needed to participate in regious population health research.
Online Master of Science
Offered in an Online format, the Online Master of Science (MS) in Epidemiology aids working professionals in healthcare with the tools necessary to advance their career or to pursue a new direction.
Applied Practice Experience
Master of Public Health students complete an Applied Practice Experience (APEx). For Epidemiology students, the APEx profides exposure to at least three general public health competencies and at least two epidemiology competencies.

A key component of the APEx is developing practice-based products for the host site.
