Food Fellows

The Columbia Mailman School Food Fellows program helps students take their skills to the next level by working with Columbia scientists, community organizations, and government entities such as the New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Fellows receive stipend support as they gain first-hand experience in food systems policy development; data collection and analysis; community needs assessment; and food-related communications and advocacy—all while building relationships with key partners and potential future employers. The fellows program, funded by generous donors, launched in summer 2019.
