Columbia University faculty bring deep health policy and management expertise in areas such as health strategy, digital innovation, health economics, and decision sciences. Meet Some of Our Faculty
Yuna Lee, PhD, MPH
Dr. Lee, the Executive program’s faculty director, focuses her research on how healthcare organizations can foster creativity and innovation from clinicians, staff, and patients to promote better patient and employee experiences and improved performance. Dr. Lee teaches Managerial and Organizational Behavior.
Kai Ruggeri, PhD
Dr. Ruggeri studies how policy influences population behavior, and how integrating evidence into policies can improve economic outcomes and population well-being. His teaching is primarily in analytics and decision-making as well as behavioral and managerial economics.
Michael S. Sparer, JD, PhD
Dr. Sparer is Professor and Chair in the Department of Health Policy and Management. He studies and writes about the politics of health care, with a particular emphasis on the health insurance and health delivery systems for low-and-middle income populations, both in the United States and globally. He teaches Issues and Approaches in Health Policy and Management.
