Data Science in Public Health Resource Initiative

In recognition of the need for our researchers to leverage technology in order to solve the complex public health issues of today, the Mailman School of Public Health is spearheading a Data Science in Public Health initiative in partnership with the Columbia Data Science Institute. This new program is being designed to provide faculty and students access to the resources they need to successfully apply data science to their work. This includes support for collaborative research projects as well as access to key services.  These resources will build upon Mailman IT’s existing High Performance Computing Support Service, which will gradually expand to include broader application support, custom application code review, troubleshooting and development, various training and events, and more.

Information and access to these new resources will be aggregated within the pages of this new sitelet, currently being developed. We will be sure to alert the Mailman community as new resources come online.
