Ryan Mateo Sharnbroich, MED
- Adjunct Professor of Population and Family Health
Overview
Ryan’s work, research and impact have always operated at the intersections of education and public health. His career started as a classroom teacher and instructional coach in public elementary and middle schools, where he led implementation and professional development efforts around initiatives related to literacy instruction, social emotional learning, LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming practices, mental and behavioral health and wellness, racial equity and justice, and more. Throughout this time, he also served as a school-based sexual health educator, which is where he found his true passion.
