Dissertation-Writing Retreats

This virtual retreat will provide dissertation writers ample time to determine goals, compose content, and support peers.
Best For: Writers who are looking for long stretches of lightly-structured writing time in the (virtual) presence of others.

Writers' Club

Join an interdisciplinary small group of writers at a similar point in the dissertation writing process. In these peer-led groups, you'll gain accountability and reader feedback from trusted colleagues.Belonging to a dissertation writing group requires that you be willing to make a commitment to the group's mutually agreed-upon expectations and procedures.

Writing Sprints

Join fellow writers for 3-hour blocks of accountability, light goal-setting structures, and focused writing time.

Templates

WritingWorks distributes dissertation templates the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) has developed in Word and LaTeX, based on the existing guidelines required for formal deposit. To download the dissertation templates, see the GSAS Writing Studio.
