What are the program dates?
We will run in Summer 2026 from Tuesday May 26th – Thursday July 16th. The program will be asynchronous May 26th – May 29th, with a move-in date of May 31st for the on-campus portion of the program. The move-out date will be Friday, July 17th.
How do I apply?
The program online application can be found here. The application deadline for Summer 2026 is March 15th, 2026. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so apply as soon as possible!
What costs are covered?
Tuition and fees, housing, travel to and from the program, and most meals for the duration of the program along with a small stipend.
Are international students eligible?
Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents.
Do I receive credit for the program?
Participants who successfully complete SIBDS will earn 3-credits from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
