Overview
Martha Wolfgang has over 20 years experience in hospital and health care administration in New York City. She was the Vice President for Planning at New York Presbyterian, the Vice President for Planning and Network Development at the Presbyterian Hospital and the Vice President for Planning at St. Lukes Roosevelt Hospital Center. She was also the Vice President and Treasurer of the Josiah Macy Foundation whose mission is the betterment of medical and health professional education. I have also worked at the Blue Cross Association and Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I am now on the Boards of three major New York City health care and civic institutions that are described in the New York City activities section above.

Lutheran Medical Center: Lutheran Medical Center includes a 500 Bed teaching hospital, a family health care centers network, Augustana extended care, lutheran home care and senior citizens housing in s.w. Brooklyn. I am Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. I am also on the corporate parent board.
Musicians on Call: Musicians on call brings the healing power of live and recorded music directly to patients bedsides in health care facilities. Founded in New york city, , it is now in 5 states and D.C. We have played for over 350,000 patients nationally and perform in 16 health care facilities in New York city. I am on the executive committee and chair the audit committee
Cathedral of St John the divine (CSJ): CSJ is a major new york city institution in spiritual affairs, civic affairs and the arts. It uses its convening power to provided ethical leadership on major issues effecting New York City. I am on the Executive and audit committees and chair the strategic planning committee.
