James Stanford, MBA

James Stanford is a health tech entrepreneur and educator with over 25 years of experience founding, funding, and scaling ventures at the intersection of health care, technology, and innovation. As Managing Director of Fitzroy Health since 2014, James builds companies designed to improve the quality, access, and affordability of health care. He is also Board Director at several companies in the health tech industry. Prior to Fitzroy, James was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and a faculty member of The Advisory Board Company Academies. He earned an MBA with a concentration in Health Care Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and he holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. He serves as Board Vice President of Hudson Valley Shakespeare, a professional theater company based in Garrison, NY.
