Overview

As an HR and equity leader, Pamela has several decades of experience partnering with industry leaders to establish best practices and innovative programming for inclusion across business lines. She strives to create health equity and culturally aware environments based on instilling fair behaviors and methodologies. In her leadership role, she promotes utilizing reliable data collection and analytics, offering educational opportunities, and setting standards for measures and metrics to help organizations identify discriminatory practices and enhance outcomes. She specifically focuses on eliminating barriers to access, employment, advancement and education for all groups as well as fostering relationships with community partners. Pamela also serves as a guest presenter and panelist at national forums and heads a consulting practice providing expert advice to organizations.

Pamela received her Bachelor’s degree in biology and health and society from Brown University and her Master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University. She is currently an adjunct professor at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health and a member of many boards and advisory councils including: Brown University’s Division of Biology and Medicine Board of Governors; the Board for the Mount Sinai Phillips School of Nursing; the Press Ganey National DEI Client Advisory Council; and the Health Outcomes Advisory Council for the American Hospital Association’s Division of Health Outcomes. Pamela guides and mentors those seeking career and professional advice with an emphasis on supporting those from under-resourced groups.
