Overview

Dr. Beidelman is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Zhang Lab at the Robert N. Butler Columbia Aging Center. Her research examines how psychosocial and economic exposures across the life course (including employment, social protection programs, and stress) shape cognitive aging and risk of chronic disease. Dr. Beidelman is an Epidemiologist and applies longitudinal methods across diverse cohorts with the aim to inform interventions that promote health equity in aging populations.
