Overview

Dr. Xiaoyu Che is appointed as Assistant Professor of Biostatistics and serves as the principal biostatistician in the Center for Infection and Immunity (CII) at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Che received his BS degree in Mathematics from Zhejiang University (China) and PhD degree in Mathematics from Claremont Graduate University. At CII, his research has focused on the design, development, and application of statistical methods for “multi-omics” analyses to bring new insights into the pathogeneses of chronic and neurodevelopmental diseases, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), and Gulf War Illness (GWI).
