Biospecimen Processing

  • We specialize in processing samples for clinical trials. 
  • Sample processing services such as aliquoting, centrifuging, sorting, and transferring, DNA/RNA isolation, and plating.
  • Cell separation and cell isolation from blood
  • Isolation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC)-most specifically lymphocytes and monocytes, or bone marrow is possible using a Ficol or Ficol-plaque layer from anticoagulant blood specimens.

Sample Storage

  • Storage space in ultra-low freezers (-80°C, -140oC), -20°C, and 4°C. Please contact us for availability. 
  • Maintenance of a sample inventory using OpenSpecimen, a Biospecimen Information Management System. 
  • A telephone alarm system monitored 24/7 is used to ensure sample safety.
