Our Research

Our faculty, scientists, and students confront some of the world’s most pressing public health challenges—including sexual and reproductive health and rights, forced migration, child and adolescent health, maternal and newborn health, mental health, environmental justice, and complex health systems. We generate rigorous evidence and bold, actionable solutions that meet the demands of our time.

We are at the forefront of advancing population health through innovative frameworks and scientific approaches that address global trends—ranging from the needs of a rising generation and an aging society, to increasing migration, gender disparities, rapid urbanization, and the critical intersection of health and climate change.

Partnership is central to everything we do. We collaborate closely with communities, policymakers, practitioners, and funders to ensure our work is grounded, ethical, and impactful—driving meaningful change in New York City, across the United States, and around the world.
