Sarah Asali (MHA ‘23) was recently named a 30 Under 30 awardee by the Arab America Foundation. The award recognizes the country's most promising young Arab American leaders who excel in their professional fields and actively preserve their cultural heritage. It highlights leaders who leverage their achievements to empower their communities and make a meaningful impact.

 

HPM executive student and family physician John van Bockxmeer(EXEC '27) published an articlein the Spring 2026 issue of "Family Doctor Journal", a journal of New York State Academy of Family Physicians.

 

Dr. Roshni Ghosh, MPH’05,has been appointed to Public Sector Industry Leader at RGP, a global professional services firm. In her new role, Dr. Ghosh will help to bring commercial-sector innovation into the public sector, connecting technology, operations, and human-centered strategy to solve problems holistically.

 

Cheryl Pegus (MPH 92’), MD, FACC, CEO and Board Chair of FlyteHealth, delivered the 2026 Class Day keynote address and received the School’s Visionary Leadership Award.

 

Dr. Jonathan Perlin (BOA and NAB Member),President and CEO of Joint Commission, was instrumental in the collaboration between Joint Commission, Coalition for Health AI (CHAI), and other groups to help ensure healthcare organizations are prepared to implement AI safely and responsibly for the best possible patient care and outcomes for all, with the release of a series of in-depth governance playbooks.

 

Dr. Jonathan Perlin receivedthe 2026 Distinguished Service Award during a ceremony on April 20 at the American Hospital Association Annual Membership Meeting in Washington, D.C.

 

Isabel Platt (MPH ‘19) joined HPM in May as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist after receiving her PhD in Health Policy from The George Washington University. She will be working with Professor Jamie Daw on the analysis of the Postpartum Assessment of Health Survey to examine maternal health outcomes and experiences during the year after birth.
