The Laboratory of Precision Environmental Health at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health invites highly motivated candidates to apply to join our team!
The Baccarelli Lab is led by Dr. Andrea Baccarelli. Dr. Baccarelli is the Leon Hess Professor of Environmental Health Sciences and serves as the Chair of the Environmental Health Sciences Department in the Mailman School of Public Health. The lab has both “wet” and “dry” lab components and is made up of postdoctoral scientists, doctoral students, visiting scientists, and staff members alike. We are a diverse group with a range of backgrounds. The laboratory currently investigates the molecular mechanisms and biomarkers that reflect the reprogramming of health and disease trajectories in response to environmental exposures. The laboratory research activities are specifically focused on epigenetics (DNA methylation, non-coding microRNAs), extracellular vesicle communication, and environmental mitochondriomics.
We are always looking for new doctoral students to work with and invite you to contact us if interested.
Our laboratory currently has one opening. Follow the links below for more information.
Please email our Assistant Director, Fion Lau with any questions.
