Join us Tuesday, January 21, for the launch of 'Sexual Citizens: A Landmark Study of Sex, Power, and Assault on Campus,' which draws on research from Columbia's Sexual Health Initiative to Foster Transformation (SHIFT), the most comprehensive study of sexual assault on a campus to date. Authored by Jennifer S. Hirsch, professor of sociomedical sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health, and Shamus Khan, chair of Columbia's sociology department, Sexual Citizens transforms our understanding of campus sexual assault and offers a roadmap for how to address it. The event will feature a discussion with the authors, remarks by University Life Executive Vice-President Suzanne Goldberg, and a book signing and reception.
