The Program on Forced Migration and Health will present their findings from a two-year project supported by the World Bank that aims to provide evidence and guidance to strengthen health systems to address the needs of displaced and host populations in contexts of protracted displacement. Building on research conducted in Jordan, Colombia, Bangladesh and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the project seeks to understand how humanitarian actors and national health systems can better respond to the needs of displaced and host communities, supported by research on economic, demographic and epidemiological trends.
