The Department of Environmental Health Sciences partners with the Precision Prevention Initiative to offer a variety of short, intensive boot camps and workshops collectively through the SHARP (Skills for Health and Research Professionals) Training Program. Many EHS faculty experts lead these trainings, geared at teaching in-demand skills on the hottest topics in research and education.

Epigenetics Boot Camp: concepts, techniques, and hands-on data analysis methods used in human epigenetics studies. 

The Exposome Boot Camp: concepts, techniques, and data analysis methods used in human exposomics studies.  

Environmental Mixtures Workshop: concepts and hands-on data analysis methods for pollutant mixtures in environmental health studies. 

GIS Workshop: fundamental concepts and hands-on techniques of data visualization and analysis using publicly available open source GIS programs.

RSO Training: meets 40hr. training requirement for a NRC type C license; skills needed to successfully implement a radiation protection program.
